I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at Iowa State University, on the 2026–27 job market. My research uses applied microeconometric methods — particularly instrumental variables and shift-share designs — to study labor markets, immigration, and human capital formation.

My job market paper provides causal evidence on the substitution between H-2A guestworkers and settled farm labor across U.S. commuting zones from 2008 to 2024. My other work examines returns to higher education in India, rural broadband and out-migration, and entrepreneurship among university graduates.

I am advised by John Winters and Peter Orazem.
